Guidelines




1.Students must fill out the College Admission Form. All particulars given in the form must be complete, correct, and in legible handwriting.
2. Attested photocopies of the following certificates must be attached  to the Admission form:
a. Matriculation Certificate (for Date of Birth proof)
b. DMC of Last Examination passed
c. Aadhar Card
3. Students have to submit 6 recent passport-size photographs along with the Admission Form.
4. 75% attendance is compulsory.
5. Students have to submit Original Migration Certificate if the students have passed the Last examination from Board other than Punjab School Education Board, Mohali, or University other than Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
6. Students have to submit Character Certificate/ Transfer Certificate issued by the last institution attended.
7. Students from other colleges will have to produce the Inter College Migration Certificate from the universiy at the time of admission.
8. If a student fail to submit the Certificate of Last Examination passed/ Migration
Certificate/ Inter College Migration Certificate on the prescribed dates, he/she shall be personally responsible for registration, admission, or result.
9. If the admission of any student is withheld by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar due to any reason, the student shall bear the whole responsibility and will not be entitled to any claim from the College.
10.A Foreign Student must produce the Eligibility Certificate from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AlU), New Delhi at the time of admission.
11.A  Foreign Student must have a valid 'Student Visa' at the time of admission. Students having a Tourist Visa' will be admitted by submitting approval from the Government of India.
12. In Case, there is any change in the Correspondence Address, Contact Number, or Email Id, then it should be informed immediately to the college office.
13. Students of the First Semester can change their Subject/Stream within ten days from the date of admission by writing an application. The change would be  permitted on the availability of seats with the approval of the Principal.


(3). Important Guidelines

(A) Code Of Conduct:-
1.College Timings are from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Each Lecture will be of 40 minutes.
2. Students should be punctual in attending lectures as per Timetable which will be displayed on the Notice Board.
3. Discipline is essential for a successful life. Students should obey framed rules and regulations to maintain decorum in College.
4.Students of the College are allowed to enter the college premises. Parents, friends, and relatives of the students should contact in Administration Office.
5.Students are prohibited to bring any outsider to the College premises.
6.Students should behave politely and in a good manner while dealing with teachers, Jerical staff, support staff, fellow students, etc.
7.Use of Cell Phones/Cameras inside the college premises is strictly prohibited.
8. The student has to apply for Identity Card in the College Library after getting admission.Identity Cards will be issued for a Session. Students must possess his/her Identity Cards all the time present in the College. Students have to produce his/her Identity cards whenever demanded otherwise they will be fined. In case of misplacement, loss, or destruction of Identity Card, students can avail of Duplicate Identity Card by paying a penalty of Rs. 300.
9. Students must wear decent and sophisticated clothes in College.
10. It is the duty of the students to read the Notice Board daily to get the latest information.
11. Students should use the college property carefully. Students spoiling the classroom furniture and tampering with the electrical equipment will be liable to disciplinary action.
12.Students should use the dustbins and should cooperate in keeping the campus, classrooms, lawns, and computer labs neat and clean.
13. Ragging is strictly prohibited in College. Any student found guilty will be rusticated from the College immediately.
14.Smoking, Consumption of alcohol, tobacco, pan or any kind of narcotic drugs, carrying fireworks, arms, ammunition, explosives, weapons, etc. are strictly prohibited on the college premises.
15.Students are not allowed to sit on stairs and building railings. Students should not make noise in the corridors while the classes are going on.
16. Bunking lectures are strictly prohibited. If a student is found missing lectures deliberately, disciplinary action will be taken as per the directions of the Principal.
17. Students are not allowed to use Gymnasium, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, eusic Labs, Computer Labs, and any Sports facility without the permission of authorized establi
18. In case of any grievances ,students can approach to grievance the  Redressal Cell stablished in the College.
19. It is mandatory for the students to attend the College Functions and perform the duties as assigned by the staff members.
20. Students are not allowed to leave the College premises before 1:40 p.m.
21. The parents of the students can contact the Principal from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the Professors during their free lectures.
22. It is mandatory for the students to appear and get passing marks in Pre-Semester Examinations. Otherwise, students will not be allowed to appear in Final University Examinations.
23. Students are prohibited to indulge themselves in any unfair practice during
Examinations.
24. Students should not indulge themselves in any type of misconduct such as
Any unlawful physical or verbal discrimination on the basis of an individual's gender, caste, language, colour, religion or religious beliefs, region, disability, or sexual orientation, marital or family status, physical or mental disability, gender identity, etc.

  • --- Any activity of deliberately damaging or destroying College property or the property of other students or staff members.
  • --- Any disruptive activity in a classroom or in an event held under College premises.

25. Students should park their vehicles properly in the College parking area. Students should possess valid Driving Licenses.
26. Students are free to put their suggestions or complaints in the Suggestion Box placed in front of the Administration Office.
Important: Any student who violates the code of conduct will be liable for disciplinary action.
The decision of the College Management Committee shall be final.
